Techvera Community Appreciation Celebration Recap

On June 27th, 2019 we threw our first Community Appreciation Celebration! Techvera has been a part of the Denton community since 2001, and through ups and downs, many changes, and an entire company rebranding, we’ve had support from the awesome people of Denton to keep us going in our mission to empower, educate, and enable our clients through technology. They’ve gotten us to where we are today, and this event was meant as a small gesture of our thanks.

We appreciate everyone who attended and the opportunity to enjoy a night of good food, drinks, fun, and conversation with our community!

We partnered with some amazing businesses for this event who helped make the night a huge success. We’d love to share their work here and encourage you to check out their services!

THE VENUE: STEVE’S WINE BAR

Steve’s is a fun and relaxing wine bar (and beer!!). They do live music, primarily Jazz, wine tastings, wine events, and have a great wine club. Simply put, a relaxing environment for you to kick back and let the worries of life pass you by for a bit.

Their gorgeous new location at 111 Industrial Street in Denton was the perfect place for our event. They were easy to work with, very accommodating, and the best hosts we could have asked for. Give them a visit if you haven’t already!

THE FOOD: CHEF JUSTIN BOX

Justin has been a renowned chef throughout both Dallas-Fort Worth and the world for many years, and he lent his mouthwatering skills to our event. He catered an amazing spread of charcuterie, pork and pilaf, salad, and assorted deliciousness. YUM!

THE ACTIVITIES: THE COLORPOP PRINT STUDIOINTERACTIVE DALLAS, & THE CIGAR GUYS

These businesses were such a blast for us and our guests!

The ColorPOP Print Studio provided live t-shirt screenprinting services. Guests were able to choose from two designs and be involved in the screenprinting process to create a take-home souvenir!

Interactive Dallas brought their Magic Selfie Mirror, a high-tech version of the traditional photo booth. Users were able to interact directly with the mirror to take the perfect picture and have it sent directly to their phone. We loved it!

The Cigar Guys educated us on how the perfect cigar is made and created custom cigars to enjoy. Our guests were able to learn where the tobacco blend came from and its different properties, how a cigar is made, and then choose what flavors they’d like to make their perfect cigar. We loved how unique and fun it was!

THE DECORATIONS & DESSERTS: FAVOR IT EVENTS

Favor It Events did an amazing job beautifying our event and providing desserts, favors, and raffle items. They came up with such unique ideas – from a massive balloon display of our logo, to custom branded favors and we couldn’t have asked for more. We highly recommend them for any and all event needs!

THE SPONSOR: DATTO

We couldn’t have put on such a fun event without our wonderful sponsor! Our partner Datto provides the ultimate in business continuity, backup, networking, business management, and disaster recovery services. We couldn’t ask for a better partner and we appreciate everything they do for both us and our clients.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY: PHOTOGRAPHY BY PEYTON

All these fantastic photos are courtesy of Photography by Peyton. We absolutely loved working with her. She takes gorgeous photos and made the process simple as could be! We appreciate her help in capturing and remembering this event.

We can’t wait for the next one!
